About Vlad, at VTL DetailingI have been involved in detailing for around 8 years, working professionally within the industry before taking the step into running VTL independently.
Alongside detailing, I’ve also spent time working as a mechanic, which has given me a deeper understanding of how vehicles are put together and how to care for them properly beyond surface-level appearance.My background has always been closely tied to motorsport. I’ve been around the scene for over 15 years and regularly attend and photograph events, with a particular focus on rally. That constant exposure to enthusiast-built and competition vehicles has shaped the standards I work to today.Outside of work, my own car is a 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. This is a heavily modified JDM import that my dog and I use daily, display at car shows and also send on the track.
I don’t just work on enthusiast vehicles; I live with one, maintain it, and understand what it means to care about it properly on a day-to-day basis.VTL also operates from a shared unit alongside Maneki Motorworks, a JDM specialist mechanical garage, which keeps me closely connected to a high level of mechanical expertise and enthusiast culture, but also means that you have everything in one place.
